Wet Dry (Stereo) Configuration

wet-dry-rig

Using the ARACOM attenuator's Line Out feature, along with a second amplifier/cabinet allows for the Wet - Dry configuration, providing a "fat" stereo tone.

Time based effects such as: reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, etc. can be placed between the Line Output of the attenuator and the guitar Input of the secondary amplifier. All other effects can be placed as normal with the primary amplifier. The secondary amplifier is typically set for a clean tone.

Even if the time based effects are not utilized in the Line Out connection, a full (non-stereo) tone can be achieved.

The Line Out feature is always on. Therefore, it can be used when the ARACOM attenuator is in the Bypass, Attenuate and Load modes. Read the Load mode instructions fully, before using the Load mode feature.

Remember to always use speaker cables for the connections between the amp, attenuator and speaker cabinet. Use a guitar cord for the line out connection from the attenuator to the effects.
