The ARACOM Tribute Line Amplifiers are "old school" design, not cluttered with a lot of extra features and effects that can drag down the tone. With guitar amplifiers, “less is better”. For many guitarist, the search for the ultimate tone ends with an original vintage amp. However with the price of vintage amplifiers sky-rocketing beyond the reach of most guitarists, many turn to boutique amp manufactures, such as ARACOM Amplifiers, who offer handcrafted tube amplifiers that reproduce the original tone of the classic amps.

The Tribute Line Amplifiers are based on some of the most sought after vintage amplifier circuits of the 60s and 70s. We’ve spent many hours refining the circuits and “tweaking-in” the components to achieve awesome tone and impressive touch sensitivity. During the design process, we sonic test our amplifiers against original vintage amplifiers. Our amplifiers are tested with an extensive range of vintage guitars and by a number of professional guitarists to ensure that the design of each amplifier covers a wide spectrum of guitar types and playing styles.

Unlike mass production amplifiers, at ARACOM Amplifiers we are able to personalize our amplifiers to our customer's request. This includes a wide selection of speakers & tolex colors, various new or NOS tubes, customized circuits, customized cabinets, and more. Every ARACOM Amplifier is built around our custom heavy duty chassis, high quality tuned cabinets, equipped with our exclusive vintage style transformers, reissue Mustard capacitors and other components that are selected for their ultimate tonal values. Every ARACOM Amplifier is meticulously hand-wired and hand assembled in the USA.
PLX SERIES – Tribute to the original
Marshall Amps
The PLX Series Amplifiers are a tribute to Marshall's first generation, handwired, plexi paneled amplifiers, which includes: JTM 45. JTM 50, and the 18 Watt Lead.
MPL SERIES – Our tribute to the handwired JMP 50 Marshalls
The MPL Series is our tribute to the handwired JMP 50 plexi and metal panel Marshall 50 watt amplifiers that followed the JTM era. Like the early JMP Marshall 50 watt amps, the MPL circuit is similar to the PLX 50 with the exception of a solid state rectifier circuit instead of a tube rectifier and a few other minor differences. The solid state provides a different feel to the amp, providing instantaneously all the power the output tubes demand, creating a very responsive amp. As opposed to the tube rectified PLX 50 version, that is a bit more current limiting, which allows the amp to “sag” when the amplifier is cranked up and driven hard.
